James Aylmer-Kelly - Principal Consultant
James started his career as an apprentice at Westinghouse, Chippenham gaining the Engineering Training certificates issued by the ETA. He then became a production controller for a range of high power semiconductors before moving into IT Systems Administration with responsibility for the company wide Unix mainframe system which ran a bespoke Cobol system for WIP, Stock, SOP, SLP, POP, PLP and nominal ledgers.
James then moved into the professional services industry quickly progressing to the position of IT Consultant servicing external clients for a large group of Chartered Accountants. This included supporting hardware & software on site and remotely, installing new systems, project management and producing justification reports for management. He then became the internal IT Manager for the practice responsible for all systems across their three offices. James then moved to a similar role for an FSA regulated financial services company, managing the hardware infrastructure and taking the company’s IT systems forward from a minimal setup to a high level of rack mounted servers and Cisco network and security systems. James has racked up over 15 years of IT knowledge including significant knowledge of internet connectivity, structured cabling, rack mounted servers, storage and backup systems, telecommunications, anti-virus security and Microsoft technologies. In his spare time he enjoys running, swimming, going to the Gym & Clay Pigeon shooting.
Kieran Hyde – Lead Web Developer
Kieran has over a decade of extensive experience designing and developing websites and internet based applications for a whole range of purposes from a database driven fund supermarket to a realtime restaurant reservation system. Kieran has a wealth of technical skills including PHP, JSP, ASP, HTML, XHTML, CSS, JQuery and JavaScript and various other online technologies. Kieran can develop a dynamic, data driven eCommerce application or a brand new website to promote a business. In his spare time Kieran has a great passion for anything with an engine and enjoys attending motoring events as well as participating in track days in his own car.
Kinsley Ransom – Database Architect
Kinsley has spent over 10 years in Manufacturing, Finance and Sports related industries. He specialises in bespoke software and database management including design and integration. Kinsley’s skills include building efficient and highly optimised databases and extracting information from old legacy systems and transferring into a format that is appropriate for today’s business. Kinsley utilises many technologies including SQL, XML, PHP, CAKE, ASP & .NET. In his spare time Kinsley enjoys football and is head coach for his local Under 10′s team.
